TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! JAXCO WEBSITE SEYZ CITY MANAGER TROY SCHULTE MIGHT NEED TO PAY DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES ON FORMER RESIDENCE AMID KANSAS CITY EARNINGS TAX DEBATE!!!

TKC has said it before, the Kansas City real estate game is rough.

Also, this Earning Tax election slap fight is getting even tougher if opponents of the tax are checking the background of Kansas City politicos and officials to see if they're all paid up.

Accordingly . . .

A Kick-ass TKC Tipster tells us: "WHY DOES KCMO CITY MANAGER TROY SCHULTE HAVE A MULTI-YEAR DELINQUENT JACKSON COUNTY PROPERTY TAX BILL OUTSTANDING?"

It's a good question BUT the MSM assures us that Troy's heart is pure given that he recently eared a GENEROUS contract for a $220K salary over some city council objections. So, clearly the man has the cheddar to solve any online billing beef.

Nevertheless, we've heard City Manager Schulte is a good guy and his greatest sin, other than being a yes-man for the mayor, is that he struggles to hard to keep everyone happy . . .

And so we wanted to do our fact checking . . .

All of this data is publicly available to feel free to check our work . . . Both addresses listed in the Jackson County property tax search cite Troy and his spouse along with a cross reference with other online listings.

Here's the Jackson County bill . . . Notice the highlight of a $767.02 charge . . . Not a huge amount but then again, given that we're debating over a 1% tax right now . . . Every penny counts to keep this broke-ass city afloat.

Why is this important?

Again, it's public info and all good.

Moreover, it's clear that some pretty well-informed campaign researchers are getting ready to launch a full-frontal assault on the e-tax.

Finally, if top Kansas City public officials and even the Mayor have encountered outstanding tax bills online . . . Then their ongoing tax pile-on confronting lowly working stiff plebs seems exceptionally cruel and regressive.

Like it or not, we've all got bills and casually heaping more taxes on Kansas City residents is a tough proposition when online records indicate that our top politicos are confronted by unpaid levies, too.

Update and in fairness . . . Here's the answer from the City Manager who seyz that Jackson County might have screwed him over like the rest of us . . . Which isn't hard to believe given constant miscalculations from the County.

  1. TKC, you fail to mention that mayor said we were going to work on alternative methods of supplementing the e-tax during his 2012 campaign.

Have we put as much work into finding new sources of revenue and cutting spending as we have into planning for a new hotel?

THAT is the question you need to be asking.

  2. That 750 million dollar Toy Train from Hipsterville to Queerville (Union Station) is lots of wasted taxpayer dollars.

    Word.

  3. Tony why did you black out his address ? It's part of the public record.

  4. How come when I look up Tony's name there's no listing, but when I look up Rita there's his shitty Toyota? Your mommy pays your taxes. A forty year old man.

    Why is this important?

Niggers in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and make themselves look foolish in the process.

    Tony's mommy pays his taxes.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Does she wipe your fucking butt as well?

  6. The system is broken. City Hall is too corrupt to keep funding again and again. This insanity must stop.

  7. You got it wrong TKC, Troy is not a nice guy. He just pays other people to do his dirty work.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I don't care that Troy is neglecting his taxes, I care that he neglecting his job and forgetting about KCMO neighborhoods.

  9. Greedo has been sniffing too many TKC farts. God man you are pathetic. Ooooops but then you own a blog.

If you ever stood near Tony, you would know from the smell that no one wipes his butt.

  11. I'm surprised that executive bureaucrats and politicians in Jackson County haven't been given a tax abatement. We all know the E Tax will make up for this vital service of tax slacking by those who are supposed to be setting the example.

  12. Why is he exempted from paying personal property tax on this residence.

Is that one of his perks?

  13. Calvin stops that kind of thing from happening 9:01 (a)

  14. Whine! Whine! Whine!

The posting is not about TKC, and his own timely payments (like vast majority of residents), it's about the TOP administrative official in KCMO municipal government who just received a lucrative contract while the working-class KCMO employees are under a wage freeze and the city plans not to add workers through 2021.

City Manager Schulte acts as Mayor James' "Yes" man to please KC's business community at the expense of neighborhoods and their residents.

Do as I say, not as I do. I'm special. I'm above the average taxpayer.

Have you watched the recent KCPT documentary about the Troost divide? There are good people east of Troost, forced to fend for themselves, while living amongst abandoned dilapidated homes owned by the city. City Manager Schulte can't find any money in the budget for their neighborhood, but will pull $18 million out of his ass for the 18th and Vine money-pit.

Residents say their number one priority is maintaining infrastructure, so of course, James and Schulte ignore residents and embark on a campaign of luxury building projects. Commercial real estate interests bought up properties along the proposed streetcar line to see their investments appreciate. A convention center hotel requires massive taxpayer subsidies because no sane investor would go it alone. Mayor James insists on a new airport terminal because he's embarrassed when his D.C./NYC friends come to visit.

E-tax cheerleaders will issue threats to residents that crime will EXPLODE if they don't renew it. Never mind the 2015 homicide rate with the e-tax in full-swing. Consultants from Kansas will say that rich guys from St. Louis are trying to hurt KC, so you better vote to renew the tax to snub them. The Kansas City Star will lecture against Jefferson City Republicans, evil Rex Sinquefield, and claim that Governor Brownback and Donald Trump are conspiring to turn KCMO into a toxic waste dump site if the e-tax renewal fails.

Schulte, James, KCMO big business, paid consultants, and the KC Star all working to subvert democracy and enrich themselves.

Vote NO on the e-tax renewal-----because it's time for change!!

  15. Dang, well thought out. And expressed himself perfectly without F-Bombs, N-Word, and Cum commentary.

For you deep thinkers with GED's and NASCAR shirts, that's ^^^^^^^^ the form of what Freedom of Speech takes.

Tony, read it again. That's the purpose of Free Speech. Say it with me.

Now, print it out and paste it to the toilet bowl tank so you can reread it when you are taking a wiz.

For the trolls that proclaim, "don't read it if you don't like it", this is the reason why your crap has to be perused to get to thoughtful communication. 956 get's it.

Unfortunately, most of the comparable commentary has evaporated because Tony has scarified quality for troll hits.

Freedom of speech should be limited to those who can write at a 12th grade level.

  16. "Freedom of speech should be limited to those who can write at a 12th grade level." Two paragraphs above this statement, you used the possessive form of get, "get's," as a verb. I presume this is the last we'll hear from you?

  17. We politicians have to love by the laws they create, that must be the definition of oppression. When non-political people don't follow the rules, they are criminalized, persecuted and prosecuted. Hmmmm.

  18. Why the FUCK is Troy Schulte still city manager?

    ReplyDelete
  19. KC is screwed. It started it Cleaver and now it's just getting worse with every new mayor.

  22. "And so we wanted to do our fact checking."

You wanted to but didn't apparently.

"feel free to check our work."

    We did. It sucked.

    "it's all good"

    Good apparently equals wrong?

"Moreover, it's clear that some pretty well-informed campaign researchers are getting ready to launch a full-frontal assault on the e-tax."

Boy if they're as shitty as you are, game over.

    "in fairness"

Finally, avoid using words you don't understand.
