KMBC: Kansas City Mayor Sly James is giving a vote of confidence to the Kansas City Police Department and Chief Darryl Forte as nine police officers get ready to go back to work.
The reporting is important because this was mostly a sign that the Mayor has the Chief's back as civic leaders work to keep everyone on the same page during the earnings tax election.
