Kansas City Dead Tree Media Roundup

This week a collection of Dead Tree Media newsies gathers to discuss stories that have already been talked to death on social media.

Still, it's a somewhat informative conversation revealing insights into the printed record of this town read diligently by retirees and other malcontents.

Check the description . . .

"Nick Haines, MarĂ¡ Rose Williams, Steve Kraske, Dave Helling and Steve Vockrodt discuss the Kansas Supreme Court ruling that block grant funding is unconstitutional, lingering problems for Mizzou, the new plan for East Side blight, the ban on Missouri traffic ticket quotas, the reallocation of Kansas pension funds, KCMO school closings and abortion putting MO tobacco tax hike in political jeopardy."

More in a bit . . .

Thank god for the clean burning coal to keep all our electronics running!

  3. Christ on a crutch, at around 7 minutes and 45 seconds, we have our local yokels pontificating on the failure of Tim Wolfe/Business Man and equating it to the ascendency of Donald Trump/Business Man. Nick wants to know if "The Bloom Is Off Of The Rose" as far as Business Men running colleges and running for office.

Kraske, says, "I think it might be."

    Pathetic.

The failure at MU, of any responsible adults in the room, be it professors, administrators and legislators to actually react to facts and the truth from fear of a PC Culture gone completely insane that panders to intellectual midgets and the threats of violence results in "White Flight" and the deterioration of MU.

The sound and fury of black, narcissistic imbeciles whose only real hope of employment by way of a sheepskin is de facto Affirmative Action appointments in HR Departments all over America, where they will drain resources and hinder innovation and opportunity for any company they "work" for.

MU bowed down to the nefarious and embarrassingly ignorant, pointless noise from the self absorbed and now will suffer the results of it's self destruction.

    Fuck MU.

  5. Kraske should be more worried about businessmen, or at least people who have some idea of how to run a business, trying to save the Star, where he still has a part-time job.
He's already at UMKC, which is "led" by an executive survivor of the failed Aquila fiasco.
That MU system really has a way of picking great leadership.
