The best Italian in KC is Jaspers and they are still the only Mobile 4 star Italian joint in America. Although there are some authentic and family owned places in KC Jaspers is the freaking standard.The rest of it is just a substitute in a pinch.

Italian food sucks. Especially KC Dago-style "Italian" food. Bout as authentic as their phony over-done Jersey Shore act. Worst Italians in the country, and that's saying something.

ReplyDeleteActually Garazzo's kid Sam is running the bistro on 40 Hwy - Salvatores. Good authentic and great atmosphere. I like Jaspers to. There are a couple of other families that had put up some pretty good food over the years in town, but these local shit heals would rather do Fizzolios and Papa Johns than actually break break in a good eatery with atmosphere.
