TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY EARNINGS TAX SUPPORTERS RECRUIT POPULAR JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE AS NEW PITCH MAN!!!

Facing increased opposition from local tax fighters, the team behind the push to renew Kansas City's Earnings Tax diligently seeks to attain every possible advantage.

To wit . . .

Newbie JaxCo Exec Frank White is being recruited by the "Yes On Question 1" campaign to support the contested levy.

One campaign insider said:

"Jackson County has a stake in this as well and Frank White would be a perfect spokesman for making sure that voter understand how the E-tax helps fund our streets, stadiums and 1st responders."

Remember that Mayor's Sly's tax record has been tarnished ever since OUR BLOG COMMUNITY REVEALED HIS LATE TAX PAY CONTROVERSY that he eventually blamed on his wife or whatever . . .

Still, with Exec Frank White now enjoys EPIC voter approval and voter love from throughout the metro. Given this crisis of political expediency, our blog community must ask . . .

WILL JAXCO EXEC FRANK WHITE FACE VOTER SCORN IF HE SUPPORTS THE CONTROVERSIAL E-TAX NOW UP FOR DEBATE THROUGHOUT MISSOURI?!?!

Exec White has a great deal to risk and courthouse insiders remind us that popularity at the County can quickly fade.

Still, the pressure on Exec White to keep the power players happy must be overwhelming even if it comes at the cost of his political capital.

Developing . . .

  1. White will have to do as told. That's what got him this far.

  2. No controversy here. Anyone who gives in the "We hate Kansas City and St. Louis" crowd in Jeff City will be in trouble. Supporting the E-Tax will be a no-brainer for White. King Rex will continue to attack, but even that much wealth has limits to its power--so far, at least.

9:14, then that brings into question: Is Frank White a leader or follower? If he's doing what he's told, the odds are that Jackson County is being lead by a follower when it should be the opposite. Why or how is he County Executive again?

  4. Uncle Tom.

  5. No one decides how Nigger KC thinks until Freedom Inc. board members get paid. And King Rex has the money.

  6. Yes, it is absolutely impossible for an intelligent human being to look at the same set of facts and reach a conclusion other than that of super blogger Tony Botello.

So White must be stupid, corrupt, or an Uncle Tom follower. Or probably all three.

You only find that kind of high level discussion here.

  7. Frank White is going to burn out fast if he doesn't jettison Calvin.

  8. Jackson County is way bigger than Kansas City. White is coming out on the side of this that is going to begin end his political shennanigans before they even get started.

  9. Mike must be thinking of a come back ,what a boneheaded move That is City politics not County. You can get in enough trouble, with County Fbi investigations without getting involved with the City.

  10. Calvin will find some corporate entity to be paid by the campaign that he can suck 90 percent of the fee from.

  11. The idea that you will be holding your elected representatives accountable by voting NO on the e-tax is wrong headed. Your city's finances are a mess, & I don't see how deny "them" revenue will help. Your personal feelings toward Sly or Troy are irrelevant to the discussion.

  13. KCMO Mayor Sly James continues his "FRAUD & CORRUPTION" Campaign and Lie to the Citizens of KC, its time to put an End to this ignorant Degenerate Wasteful SOB !!!

If the Earnings TAX Continues, then KCMO Mayor Sly has to go , NO if ands or butts, he has to Step Down & resign immediately !!!

  14. Did anyone check with Sherwood Smith to see if this was okay with him? Tony says he's a "political powerhouse", which is a title you earn by losing over and over and over again. Frank and the E Tax people should consider hiring Sherwood...to work for the opposition.
