Here's a term we learned from one of the many smart people who read TKC . . .
Inner suburb is a term used for a variety of suburban communities that are generally located very close to the centre of a large city.
Not so long ago . . . Moving across the State Line into Kansas was the start of better life, an escape from KCMO urbanism, corruption and homicide along with access to better schools. But those days are over.
To wit . . .
IN OVERLAND PARK, MISSION, LENEXA, SHAWNEE AND ROELAND PARK TKC TIPSTERS TELL US THAT A SCOURGE OF RAMPANT CAR CRIME IS HITTING THESE SUBURBAN CITIES ON AN UNPRECEDENTED SCALE!!!
This isn't just the few cars that get stolen warning up during cold weather . . . We're talking about a massive number of car break-ins, robberies and even a few car-jackings that have suburban po-po confounded . . . Behind the scenes already the blame is being cast toward KC Proper crime spillover.
Again, cold weather car crime has been well documented this year Winter but the current trend looks worse. Simply locking up cars and keeping valuables out of sight might not be good enough solutions amid this new crime spree.

Most of the JoCo cities in the headline aren't "inner ring suburbs".
ReplyDeleteYou can't rob an abandoned derelict house or burglarize a vacant lot, so if that's what you do for cash, you have to head somewhere where people actually work and own something of value.
And as the KCMO east side continues to empty out and folks who value safety, education, and actually being able to live decent lives by working for a living like others, the hunting grounds for self-destructive losers has to expand.
They may find, though, that law enforcement and the public's role in the safety of their own neighborhoods is a lot different from KCMO.
And so are the courts.
Oh absolutely, it's fucking NIGGERS and nothing more. These thieving, stinking animals are above the law and do just about anything they please. Everyone's afraid to be called a "racist" when actually, that would be a proud label! NIGGERS are scum and cancer cells on humanity.

makes sense that these hoodrats go out to the golden ghetto, a lot of these people leave their front windows open at night for others to look into or their garage doors open at all hours of the day and night
