Josh Wolf Chelsea Handler Star Back To KC
He became known as the handsome guy always wearing a ball cap on Chelsea Lately. Josh Wolf started his big climb on Chelsea Handler's tv series six years ago. Wolf not only became her co star but her producer and head writer of the show. Josh had come off another tv series, My Name Is Earl and his national tours with Larry The Cable Guy. Josh returns to Kansas City and Stanford and Sons this weekend.
We first met Josh in 2007 when he opened for the 'hot' April Macie at Stanfords. He became a regular with us over the last 8 years. Josh left Chelsea's show and got his own show two years ago, THE JOSH WOLF SHOW on CW. He even took local comic Wes Van Horn with him to be a regular on the program. Wolf was chosen to also host the hugely popular 'Shark After Dark' for the last two seasons. Yes SHARK WEEK. Josh also hosted 'After Lately' with Chris Franjola.
Last year Wolf picked one his Chelsea co stars to do comedy songs about raising kids on his stand up shows. It was a smash and CBS has picked them up for a new record deal. Josh loves to poke fun at his teenage son and his misadventures like putting water back into his vodka bottle after sneaking it out to drink with his pals. "Son vodka doesn't freeze and turn to ice. Water does. Stop drinking my vodka!"

The winter acts continue to be 'hot' ones. Next week the man who 'slept' with Amy Schumer in Train Wreck, Jim Florentine. He also is a regular on her huge hit TV show, 'Inside Amy Schumer.' Jim Florentine will appear with co star Don Jamieson. The two of them starred in 'Crank Yankers' "I got mail, I got mail" and now star on 'That Metal Show' in season 11 on VH1 Classics.
Coming up Brian Dunkleman former host of American Idol, Tim Meadows 11 years on Saturday Night Live, The Ladies Man, Oz live, new series The Goldbergs and also in Train Wreck. First week of February Dante and Rebecca with co star Ron Jeremy. That should be a real different show to say the least. Lets hope the winter weather continues to give us NO SNOW. See you there.

Amazing also how Stanfords keeps allegedly packing the place night after night and still has to keep moving from one strip shopping center to another.

ReplyDeleteI don't agree with your opinion of Stanfords. I have seen it empty more or less and yes been there and lets say it didn't smell like roses blooming. Not saying it smelled like piss either mind you, just another typical no trill dive bar is what it is. Some places have bands with no names and Stanfords has nobodies who have failed or never will be anyone on stage again. So it is what it is, and therefor deal with it.
