I would never stand for someone who talked or communicated like he does to even enter my house.
You want to represent traditional and conservative values, you might want to start first with your use of language. Then second, model the behavior you want to see in others. Third, you might want to read "The Greatest Generation". In that read you will find that people had a respectful way of communicating with people of differing viewpoints.
We will in a time where 75-80% of the people come to information with their minds already made up then seek information that supports their preconceived point of view. Would not be so terrible, save for the phenomena that these same people claim to be 100% correct, all the time, and spew ad hominem insults towards anyone who dares disagrees with them.
IMHO, what made this Country great, was the ability to exchange perspective, viewpoints, opinions, etc. without the fear that someone is not going bat shit crazy if you don't reflect their narrow point of view.
643 shows how we are losing that.
If you look at Tony's blog at the early days, he was inspiring open thought and debate about important local issues that were frequently overlooked by a press that was responding to a local electorate that does not care about muni government. Sadly, again IMHO, this blog seems to be have taken hostage by angry, venomous, hateful commentary that Tony seems to cloak in "free speech".
So, take with a grain of salt, those who claim to represent values and a culture that they claim to be correct.
