New Years Entertainment For KC!!!
Hey folks, it's New Years Eve. Again! Man I sure remember when it was fireworks and a big kiss from your sweetheart in the car when we were teenagers. Now its dinner and a show or maybe a special program of music, dancing and cocktails. Well there is always the college playoff games or just 'Twilight Zone' reruns til the end of time.
If you love comedy maybe Stanford and Sons is the answer. Tonight through Sunday its 'Seinfeld's' Kenny Bania, Steve Hytner. Steve has two shows at Stanfords Overland Park tonight. 8pm and 10pm. Stanfords also offers steak and lobster before the show. Now these will sell out so call asap. If not for tonight then maybe this weekend. Hytner is great, he also co starred with Jeff Foxworthy in Jeff's tv series. Steve was on so many comedies that include Mike and Molly, King of Queens and Two and a Half Men. Steve also was in movies including 'Clerks' and 'In the Line of Fire' w/ Clint Eastwood. Yes he was the guy in the famous 'soup nazi' show on Seinfeld.
Stanfords has a fantastic list of upcoming big name comics including next week's Josh Wolf. Josh was writer/producer and co star of Chelsea Lately, After Lately, My Name Is Earl and his own show The Josh Wolf Show. Josh is with us January 7-9. Then Jim Florentine and Don Jamison stars of 'Crank Yanerks' and 'That Metal Show.' Followed by Trevor Moore star of MTV and Comedy Central's 'Whitest Kids You Know' series. Tim Meadows ends January. Tim is on everything these days. He was on Saturday Night Live for ten years, now on Trainwreck w/ Amy Schumer, The Goldbergs, Oz live, The Ladies Man. In February JJ Walker for Valentines, Colin Kane, Dante with Ron Jeremy yes 'that Ron Jeremy' and the induction of Kansas City comedy legend Calvin Coolidge into the new Comedy Hall of Fame. Also in February comedy sensation from the Kevin Hart picture The Wedding Ringer, Colin Kane. If I want to smell puke and piss I will go to Westport and sit on the curb. I can get shitty food there too and listen to funnier than Stanfords comedy just watching the mudsharks swooning on the niggers. No need to go to Stanfords and support a snitch, rat bastard, blowhard like Glazer.

ReplyDeleteIf you think that a standing ovation means anything at Glazers --it means that guys who laugh every time that a four letter word is said, or some sexist remark is made are getting up to go pee. It is nice of Glazer to provide a place for his clientele, otherwise we would have to have them around decent people.
