TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! AMID 37% HOMICIDE SPIKE IN 2015: IS THE KANSAS CITY NO VIOLENCE ALLIANCE THE LATEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROGRAM TO FAIL?!?!
This year a resurgence in Kansas City homicide and violence has even the most strident supporters of local politicos and their happy talk taking a moment of pause.
To wit . . .
KANSAS CITY NOW COUNTS A 37% HOMICIDE SPIKE SO FAR IN 2015 AMID POLICE CUTBACKS!!!
A few more facts to think about that local media don't like to mention very often . . .
- This year KCMO has suffered around a HALF DOZEN tragic incidents where children were hit and killed by gunfire by accident and intentionally.
- Robberies and other violent assaults are also on the upswing - Even last year the FBI noted that KCMO ranked among the top 10 most violent cities in the nation.
- This Summer witnessed a tragic instance of gunfire and rioting in local entertainment district after so much talk of a "turnaround" for local tourism. Shootings in the P&L District and a quadruple shooting in westport punctuated the dangerous Summer.
In fairness, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker has pleaded for time to let KC Nova work . . . Meanwhile, our TKC blog community has questioned the coincidence of crime stats slightly readjusted and enduring a historic drop right before the reelection of Mayor Sly James in his contest against a some hobo guy arranged by his lawyer friends.
Still, bodies continue to drop thanks to escalating local violence in Kansas City and throughout the nation.
And so we ask . . .
IS KC NOVA JUST ANOTHER VERSION OF AIM4PEACE TOUTING CURIOUS ANTI-CRIME NUMBERS AND RHETORIC AMID INCREASING KANSAS CITY VIOLENCE???
Aim4Peace claims they can prevent local murders and basically KC Nova makes the same argument... Meanwhile, budget hawks question the significant expense of these programs and Jackson County's COMBAT . . . Many KC Insiders believe they are a legal but quasi-slush fund to pay off community contacts and political supporters.
From "hotspot" policing to "community engagement" and whatever buzzword locals throw out . . . It seems the quotient of local murder remains constant and disproportionate for a town of this size despite the big talk from politicos chasing higher office.

They seek vast amounts of Money from the Corrupt KCMO City, and do very little if anything.
Basically their nothing more than Phony Black Groups, extorting Money out of the city, to continue on the Phony BOGUS path of nothing !
That's how they continue to excist and not have to work, create a BOGUS Phony group, get the city to Finance you hundreds of thousands of dollars, every year or two, and your good to go, to continue being a True Degenerate Bullshit Artist !!

ReplyDeleteThey have lead poisoning. They won't stop being violent until the soil they have children on is cleaned. The homes built turn of last century need renovation to remove the lead.
ReplyDeleteSpend a few billion per metro area cleaning the lead, let the lead poisoned kill each other off, wait fifteen years and then the black crime rate will drop.
The cdc did a number of huge studies that show black children are lead poisoned at a rate far higher than any other community in America.
