Midday Kansas City killing report reveals that this town is moving toward the century mark for murder faster than we initially suspected.

This is the second murder for today as the local count seyz this is either homicide #93 or #94 depending on the backlog of cases and fluctuations in the count according to a new methodology. Last year there were 70 murders at this time in KCMO for 81 total.

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this info--rest of the city frantically trying to pretend that "there is no crime surge in KCMO." By my count, 67 black homicides so far in 2015, 27 of other races--compared to 51 black homicides and 30 of other races in all of 2014. Looks suspiciously like a crime surge due to "de-policing." Yet, the posting and his comments about it, had nothing to do with religion, so why is he referencing his apparent faith? Is this an attempt to dissuade any criticism of his comments? This is atypical behavior and I find it odd.
