This article discusses the clash of cultures in baseball today and the generally white supremacist response. The more extensive article on the same topic in USA Today yesterday mentioned the Royals as a team with lots of Latin players and mentioned Yodano Ventura.
These articles essentially essentially made clear that much of what Ventura and the Royals (Latin and not) get criticized for are all a normal part of the culture of baseball in Latin countries, and unlike most clubs the Royals AS A WHOLE have adopted the Latin style rather than trying to go the other way and make the Latin players be WHITE. GOOD FOR THEM.
It makes for a much more fun and enjoyable game...and one that I propose young people in general would find much more to their liking (as do I). It is also not racist and does not try to denigrate a culture simply because it is not white bread in nature. LET VENTURA BE VENTURA

It's society's shift in customs overall being expressed in some tensions. And, well pro sports a/k/a entertainment reflects the "Facebook" effect. Too many players are "look at ME! ME! ME!" Baseball is trying to live up to the other 'COLORFUL' leagues. They're getting spicy with the sparring...keeping bloodlust fans attracted. It ain't just grampa's pastime anymore.

NFL has penalties for Unnecessary
Roughness, Unsportsmanlike Conduct and Excessive Celebration to calm the beasts.
Seems NFL brawling has pretty much settled down. MLB can work the bad boys images now.
