TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SUNDAY SPECIAL!!! AFTER SHOUTING MATCH WITH COUNCIL LADY THIS WEEK: KANSAS CITY MAYOR SLY NO SHOW AT JACKSON COUNTY DEMOCRATIC WOMEN'S CELEBRATION FEATURING ALL-STAR MISSOURI POWER PLAYER GUEST LIST!!!

This week we've been following an important Kansas City Democratic Power Player celebration which proved to be an important turning point among the local political elite.

The most important detail for voters and lower ranking denizens like our blog community . . .

AFTER A SHOUTING MATCH WITH A COUNCIL LADY OVER THE DOWNTOWN CONVENTION HOTEL . . . MAYOR SLY'S ABSENCE @ AN EVENT HONORING JACKSON COUNTY DEMOCRATIC WOMEN WAS HIGHLY NOTICED AMONG KANSAS CITY POWER PLAYERS!!!

Thankfully, our KICK-ASS BLOG COMMUNITY was on the scene with pix to prove it.

Take a look and account of the important Kansas City gathering otherwise unreported in local media.

Check it:

50th Anniversary for Jackson Co Democratic Women

"The event honored Kansas City legends Dutch Newman and Jim Nutter. Dutch founded the club when Gov. Warren Hearnes called and asked her to put one together.

Attending were a stellar cast: Sen. Claire McCaskill, Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders, Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster, Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway, many state reps and state senators, county legislators, and city council members. Only one missing was the mayor."

Now, while supporters might argue that the Mayor had more important things to do . . . Check Twitter or any social media outlets that City's Hall's boss constantly updates and notice that he's pretty much off the map this weekend after Councilwoman Teresa Loar was the first to openly challenge his tactics in suppressing an initiative petition signed by thousands of Kansas City voters.

Comments

  1. No man's land for the Mayor doesn't suit him.

The sad part about this is that now we will see nothing but PR conferences, probably one for women's issues too where he lines up his secretaries and female consultants to parade around him.

  2. Fuck these raggedy assed old nutty broads. Give them credibility and the next thing is your putting up with all kinds of left wing libtard nutty shit. The got the vote. That is more than enough.

  3. If Sly thinks it's bad now, just wait until Kathryn wants something.

  4. I support my Mayor10/4/15, 10:00 AM

I do not believe that shouting is the way to do things when we're talking about city money. I stand with the Mayor because he is leading our city forward with more new attractions than Kansas City has ever seen. Nobody else is showing that initiative and leadership matters.

  5. KC really needs to get a better class of leadership.

  6. Looks like Mr Peanut busted Skippy out of the hooooshcow.

Last "word" was Skippy was going to be in cuffs and shackles heading to jail.

What ? Skippy is back at work and drinking with Mr. Peanut ? Say it ain't so. Damn that Buttholio. Can't believe a word that Mexican says.

Bet he has his conductor outfit on right now. Working on his call.....ALL ABORAD. First stop, Bob Jones shoes. ALL ABOARD, next stop Bazookas.

BTW, "holio", you have to wear pants while you "conduct".

Is that why you're reading on Sunday morning.

When Sanders is finally disgraced are you gonna make an apology to TKC? Or are you just going to keep on trolling instead of looking for honest work.

  8. LOL, I wouldn't exactly call blogging honest work but I will say that Mayor James obviously has a problem with women. With this new council I don't think that will work for him.

  9. A better and shorter headline for you Tony - "White women bring down the black Mayor."

    Isn't that what's really happening?

    1. Had to throw race in? Here's a fun fact. Black mayor prefers white women - white women can take their pick of Black self-hating men.

  10. Sly James isn't the victim here, he is a bully and it's about time somebody stood up to him.

  11. I don't think it's about race, it's about money and power. That color is green. The Mayor is a corporate lawyer above all else, if he can't get his way he knows his bosses will be mad. The Mayor works for Polsinelli, Cerner and The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. The voters are his last concern.

  12. It's all like watching the members of a middle school social club fight over who's the most important.
And all financed with billions of dollars of YOUR tax money.
What a pathetic amateurish group of losers.

  13. The question yet to be answered is, "did Kansas City Mayor Sly James not attend or was Mayor Sly James not invited to the Missouri Democrat Leaders Women's Event?"

    ReplyDelete
  14. Wait......now last night was an "All-star Missouri Power player guest list"? You'd been preaching all week it was already an "embarrassment" that required "strong arming" to get attendees and that they were going to pull people out of "homeless shelters to fill the seats"? The reality is that it was the political event of the year for KC Dems? Can't be so as this BLOG NEVER just makes shit up to try to get clicks. Also, why are we still talking about Sanders, he resigned 2 or 3 weeks ago, right?

  15. Eat some shit, we are the rabble and we hold truth to power

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'll tell you this, now would be a good time to move out of Kansas City if this is where we're headed. This is bad news and Sly is a bad Mayor.

  17. TKC this maybe a non-issue. The Mayor was attending the quarterly US Conference of Mayors Conference - http://usmayors.org/pressreleases/uploads/2015/1002-advisory-leadership.pdf
Something has consistently done since in office. I hope the mayor sent a nice note to the honorees or plan to recognize them at a future council legislative session - any council member could sponsor the later suggestion and should do so!

  18. I don't care if the Mayor doesn't go to this event. I do care that the Mayor is giving away millions to Mike Burke and Hyatt.

  19. Bet you care about tossed salad

  20. Nutter last Poltician is Sanders enjoy.

  21. Omg what a bunch of worn out relics on that stage. The republicans run the Council and the Legislature just maybe we need some young leadership.

  22. @10:58am. Don't forget the Dunn's who get every damn construction contract in KC. They are also pushing the hotel through so they can 'bid' on the work. Just like they 'bid' on the Sprint Center, Royals Stadium renovation, Chiefs Stadium Renovation, etc. and all the other contracts that they have 'won' in KC. Sly is their 'lawyer' too....he is not for the people of KC.

3rd grade comment. Try harder and don't try involve MY Mayor is your racial BS, he is far more educated and accomplished than you and he served his country proudly.

I don't agree with him all the time but I respect him.
