"Police say the two men were shot around 12:15 a.m. Saturday morning at the BP Gas Station at Van Brunt and Independence. It resulted from some type of disturbance that began inside of the gas station. Police interviewed witnesses at the scene for around five hours. "
No suspect info yet for this double killing in Kansas City's most ethnically diverse and embattled part of town.

And every time people talk about it they only bring up the decline last year. That's a really strange way to look at things. Only playing up progress that is no longer relevant. Very Kansas City.

Currently at the corner of East 27th Street and Van Brunt, it was just a hop-skip-and-jump to collect the dead bodies that litter the Third District landscape. Not a moment too soon with the parade of injustice on display nationally (million man march), there wasn't one march dealing with the crimes committed by and against other black people. Things are safer than they've ever been. Having a black police chief, two black male (one or both gender-bending) councilpersons, Mayor and relocating East Patrol was intended to increase relationships with police and citizens; and bring an end to the black against black conflict that persists in these types of neighborhoods. Our lie detectors are typically spot on. The lie detector determined....that was a lie. Get rich quick or die trying. Now back to your regularly scheduled propaganda, urban gunfights and stray bullets.
