TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! CONDOLENCES TO JACKSON COUNTY EXEC MIKE SANDERS ON PASSING OF HIS DAD!!!
A terrible loss this week for Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders.
Here's a note of sympathy that should provide a bit of insight and a reminder that our elected leaders also have personal struggles, challenges, setbacks and losses as well:
"As readers of THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY know, Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders' father had been fighting stage IV cancer for the last several months. He died fairly suddenly yesterday. As many in the political world know, the County Executive was extremely close to his dad and Exec Mike Sanders often said publicly that his dad was the reason he got into politics when he did."
There might be nasty commenters on this post but the info is merely offered as our humble blog community effort to help share info with other insiders who may want to offer their sympathy AND, again, to remind locals that politics shouldn't be personal and must recognize the humanity among all participants no matter what partisan stance.
Some people understand that TKC. Others never will.
