  2. With all the activity and hundreds of pedestrians in bustling downtown KCMO at that time of night, surely someone must have seen something.
On the other hand, what in the world was someone doing at 6th and Grand at that time of night?
The PR narrative gets thinner every day.

  3. 6th and Grand hmm the home of Grandslam, also the home of a bunch of scare people. Same place where a cop shot someone last year.

  4. The city puts up red light cameras to generate revenue but a few strategically placed cameras could track carjackers. But that would require the cops to actually arrest someone and that would be way too much effort.

  5. Were blacks involved?

  6. Teevee news says both incidents involved two "younger black males."

  7. Anyone out on the streets of KCMO after dark, whether in a car or on foot, is a suicidal idiot.

Sixth and Grand is not "the hood" ... it is downtown.

Nobody is safe after dark anywhere in KC, identified the other day in national news stories as one of the 10 U.S. cities experiencing the biggest increases in murders.

  8. 6th & Grand ? Is that not close to the PD HQ ? I guess Chief Fort'e was tending to his hampster and doctoring on those crimes statistics.
