"We have to get out, stop watching from our porches, stop watching from our windows and participate," said Joseph Jackson, of the Kansas City neighborhood advisory council. "When we see things happening in our community, get involved and get engaged. Because when it happens to our neighbor's house we don't say anything, but when it happens to our house then we want somebody to say something."

Right, until Joseph Jackson has a vendetta to settle against you - then he doesn't want you involved, he wants you to be the target of his hate.
