Waiting to run for Mayor might be a bad idea given that record low KCMO voter turnout suggests the public isn't interested in any particular elected official. And her KCP&L PR gig might not last too long after her list of favors and political capital dries up . . . Which should be some time next week.
Remember that leaving office, sexy Cindy seemingly took a shot at our TKC Blog Community for being hard on the lady politicos . . . But nobody gets a free pass online or in the real world and now we're waiting to see what this lady power broker will do for ACT II or if a nasty public divorce, pretty much selling out most of her constituents and taking on the mantle of a local lady mover & shaker has ultimately ended with Cindy returning to her nail tech gig.

But, given the fact that both KCMO government, many of the nonprofits and foundations, and Jackson County government is absolutely full of make-work jobs for incompetent people, Cindy's face will be showing up at announcements about spending tax money for harebrained projects for many years.
She should be looking for an unaccountable gig right now!

I respected her back when Circo used to advocate for small businesses in KC and try to stand up for the little guy. But slowly and surely she just became another shill doing the bidding of the chamber. Now she might realize she's just an nail tech.
