TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY DENIZENS DEMAND MAYOR SLY MOVE TROUBLED VIOLENT TEEN 'ROCK THE BLOCK' PARTY OUT UNION STATION AND AWAY FROM UPCOMING TOY TRAIN STREETCAR LINE!!!

Behind the scenes Mayor Sly's bosses at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce have given him marching orders that he will have to carry out to the detriment of his party intended to deter violent teen flash mobes that has only resulted in disaster.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS REVEAL THE DEMAND TO MAYOR SLY TO MOVE HIS 'ROCK THE BLOCK' PARTY OUT OF UNION STATION AND AWAY FROM THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR!!!

Here's the word . . .

"The Mayor knows that Chamber was always skeptical of this plan and while they love stuff like the Ninja Warrior contest and Maker Faire, this routine is getting old and reflects badly on the City, Downtown Development and everyone involved. To their credit, the Union Station folks are sticking with Sly but there are more than a few Chamber members who have told the Mayor it's time to host this event in another venue . . . When the streetcar gets here, it's just going to look horrible when these teens create trouble along the line. Inviting them down there is just begging for ANOTHER disaster."

One of Kansas City's many fine community centers is suggested for an alternative venue.

TRAGICALLY, THE MAYOR SEEMS DEFIANT ABOUT DEFENDING HIS "ROCK THE BLOCK" DISASTER AND SEYZ THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!

Take a look:

KMBC: Fights shouldn't detract from positive impact of Rock the Block, mayor says

Deets:

“People enjoyed it. It’s something that we need to do. But you’ll always have a risk of having a few people that don’t understand the rules, don’t want to play by the rules, don’t want to act right, and come in make it look worse than it is,” he said.

James said programs like Rock the Block and Club KC offer young people a safe place to hang out.

“If we simply say, ‘Hey, we’re not going to do this,’ then they’re going to find something else to do, and it may not be as positive,” James said.

However, for all the tough talk . . . This event has now earned more than a few vocal critics who will lobby for a change of venue. Stay tuned to this blog for all the behind the scenes deets until then.

  1. A nice day at swope park might be more productive.

I didn't think about the train.

Developers are also against it. I guess convenient transit isn't for all of us. Maybe we can give Staubio a contract to fix it for us or help out with security?

  2. Staubios in Europe peeing in street buckets in Amsterdam.

  3. Maybe we can pay Staubio to move back to Norfolk Nebraska.

  4. Just move the NIGGERS away from a productive, white area. Is there anything magic about this?? No, go away NIGGERS, that's the battle cry!!

  5. I say the move it the The Landing at 63 and Troost. I mean it's then in the neighborhood of the folks he wants the event to be for.

    ReplyDelete
  6. It reflects badly on the subhuman NIGGERS who plague our community, dig? ALL of the problems in this city start and end with NIGGERS.

GET IT? WE HAVE A NIGGER PROBLEM.

  7. Why is the mayor so arrogant? Why should I have to pay for this? Such a shame.

  8. Move it to River Market - Where everything looks like a box and talks like a box.

  9. Lucky no one got shot this year. Wasn't gunplay a part of the party last year. Move it to the zoo.

  10. Why don't they move it to Brookside?

  11. "You’ll always have a risk of having a few people that don’t understand the rules, don’t want to play by the rules, don’t want to act right, and come in, make it look worse than it is,” Mayor James said, in reference to himself and his Council allies.

  12. The best place for this event is in the courtyard outside on the first floor of the Star building on Grand.
Think of all the opportunities the young people would have to interact with reporters and members of the editorial board and share their experiences and points of view.
Suggestion to Star writers: Don't disagree or in any way diss these energetic young people or your experience may get just a little nore intense than you bargained for.
Mary, Jenee', Lewis, get on this this social program right away!

  13. Well, you have to agree with Sly that there are always going to be some people who don't understand or want to abide by the rules or act inappropriately. First fistfights at this events.
And then in just a year or two, a participant in east side homicides.
Why does anyone think that making excuses for this crap does anything positive to try to turn these young people around?
The parents are unable or unwilling to intervene, so the public suffers weekend after weekend.
And the public's about fed up.
That's why we have a city government and police department.
So take some time off from cutting ribbons and spending other people's money, roll up your sleeves, and make it clear that this kind of behavior won't be tolerated. And tell the inevitable east side leaders who will march, complain, and make accusations to take a hike.

  14. It's hard to find the tough talk from Sly and the gang. In fact, he basically is saying that if the city doesn't babysit this mob at taxpayer expense, they'll find something worse to do and destroy more property and hurt others.
Apparently intimidation and extortion is working just fine.
A city with a $1.4 billion budget cowering in the corner from a bunch of teenaged kids.
    Not exactly the major leagues.

  15. Sly blamed the ruckus on the gun. LOL, there was no gunshots fired. What a dumb ass.

  16. “If we simply say, ‘Hey, we’re not going to do this,’ then they’re going to find something else to do, and it may not be as positive,” James said.

    How fucked up is this?

We have come to the point in America, where if we don't pay off and entertain the animals, our politicians fear the chaos and violence that will ensue.

60 years of Liberal Legislation, Civil Rights initiatives, Affirmative Action, Rec Centers, Mid Night Basket Ball, "Rock the Block" and literally thousands of state, local and federal programs to try and get negroes to act human.

    ALL FOR FUCKING NOTHING.

You can't fix a 75 IQ with all the money in the universe and the ONLY thing violent, entitled blacks understand in superior firepower, violence and the will to use it. Build more prisons, throw the scum bag negroes in the prisons where they belong.

  17. Are these "insiders" real people or is this just made up bullshit to make niggers look worse than they are, which is really bad?

  18. Move it to the new east patrol showplace. Kill two birds with one stone.

  19. Well so this is groovy and progressive Kansas City huh?

    Isn't it a pity, isn't it a shame.

  20. What about hosting the events at a police station?

Sly is a typical groid. Blame the "gun". No Sly, we blame you and groids just like you. Until you admit to the problem (groid history) you can not begin the process of changing. You, Sly, can marry all the white women you want, move to a white neighborhood in the Northland, and send you ghetto banging son to LA, but the groid is still there. 100% Ne-groid.

I agree with Superdave. Move the hood-fest to The Landing. It will fit right in there. Circle it off and have the media choppers circle the carnival with cams running. Must see TV.

  24. All I can say is I hope the public can keep on funding this nigger only party Sly feels the ignorant niggers deserve. This is what you get when a sleazy nigger oversees a city full of lawless thugs.

  25. Worst Mayor ever......

    ReplyDelete
  26. If one tenth of the bullshit that went on at the Mayor's clusterfuck happened at a bar they would yank the license and shut the place down. Here you have the chief yard ape forcing the tax payers to finance this horseshit and when it gets bloody they start working to plan the next one. Anything else you want to put black folk in charge of?

  28. Hey the reason for the toot toot is to get people around and getting more people to the "Rock whatever" will at least focus the violence in one place for one night.

  29. This all starts at home, until the parents of these hood rats start showing some interest in raising their own kids, nothing will change. These hood rats will grow older, hate the KC metro, and end up living in their mom's basement just like Tony Botello.
