Kansas City West Armour Blvd Listed As One Of Top Missouri Places In Peril 2015

Midtown Kansas City gentrification and real estate development isn't doing much to save the local culture and this list from the Missouri Alliance for Preservation attempts to save "The four historic apartment buildings designed by famous architect and KC local John McKecknie in 1902 and 1903. They are located in Kansas City's historic Old Hyde Park Historic District." Check it: Photos: Missouri's 'Places in Peril' for 2015 : Gallery

  1. If there are no privately funded operations willing to save all this crap let it perish. Missouri is already jam packed with sites from the past, subsidized by tax payers, that damn near no one even looks at. There is no glory in infrastructure hording when we are already being taxed to death.

  2. Why is it up to WHITE PEOPLE to take care of the grave sites of BLACK PEOPLE?

If you don't give a fuck about your dearly departed, then we shouldn't have to....

That's what we need more taxes for. To restore a black grave yard that nobody on the planet gives a fuck about, including blacks.
