  1. Certainly glad KCMO is recognized as an e-Steward enterprise. How many national firms were waiting for that designation before deciding to move here? Whatever the cost to obtain this award I am sure it was worth it.

  2. So what did the Republican Media have to say about Brownback - since we are always hearing from the libtard media.

  3. If there was ever a hot mess in this wicked little town, Sam the Sham Brownback is it. You should be calling him out at every opportunity and not pursuing your vendetta against the mainstream media as a way to deflect valid criticism of him. Makes me wonder if Rex Sinquefield isn't paying you to do this. You have no visible means of support. Is your mom really paying all your bills, TKC, after all these years? Hard to believe...

  4. Let's hear from the Libtards in WhineDotte County when Brownback caves:

Superintendent Cynthia Lane says she doesn't know where she's going to find the money. “We certainly can’t say we’re not going to touch the classroom because everything we’ve been doing the last 24 months has impacted kids and teachers.” The district has also laid off workers after the Legislature passed the block grant funding. WHINING WORKS IN KS. Cyn didn't have to touch her huge salary and benefits.

Repairs and upgrades totaling $865,000 The amphitheater is owned by Wyandotte County. Approved at the Aug. 27 meeting was a $750,000 bond issue plus a $115,000 payment.

USE OF GRANT FUNDS HAS BECOME AN ART FORM IN KCK:

Bike Trail $2.1 million for three-tenths mile at Kaw Point, went over budget.

The UG was receiving a grant for the project, with the STATE handling the grant, and the grant is about two-thirds of the cost of the project, according to UG officials. The UG’s portion of the cost overrun, $250,000, was already included in the budget that had been passed by the UG.

The grant then was $1.2 million in federal funds and the UG match was $510,000 for a total project cost of $1,726,000, according to Heatherman.

Mayor Holland said Wyandotte County has been behind the rest of the metropolitan area in bike and hike trails.

Heatherman said the $750,000 could probably be enough to pay for about 7,600 feet, a little over a mile, of sidewalks.

    Broke ass Kansas indeed.
