Mission Hills, Fairway, Westwood Hills, and Mission Woods each have less homes than Prairie Village. Perhaps, the city total as opposed to median incomes by city is what possibly labels P.V. the 'richest'.

It just math. Income vs net worth. Many households in Mission Hills are high net worth older money, but only tap their net worth for the income they need, vs. Prairie Village that is newer money, paying house payments, using real income.
