At the midpoint of the year we noted that this weekend was make or break for Kansas City in terms of preventing increasing violence.
Now, as Sunday comes to a close . . .
THE 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND WAS EXCEPTIONALLY VIOLENT THROUGHOUT KANSAS CITY AND OFFERS A PREVIEW OF WHAT COULD BE DEADLY DOG DAYS OF SUMMER!!!
Evidence . . .
- Gunfire in both major Kansas City entertainment districts as the P&L along with Westport business suffered gunfire damage.
- Multiple homicide scenes for dead bodies found around the metro. Only one is described as "without trauma" but investigation continues . . .
- Let's not forget increased domestic violence escalating with a daddy shooting.
And so . . .
YOU DECIDE: WILL KANSAS CITY BECOME INCREASINGLY VIOLENT DURING THE HOT MONTHS OF SUMMER!!!
Rather than one assurance after the next from politicos . . . It's important to bring this discussion to the public and let people on the streets and in the neighborhoods decide.
