Just a few things we've heard . . .
- The bad news isn't over for LeVota political influence . . . Their Jackson County Democratic Committee power base is under attack and drilling down to the neighborhood level it looks like all of their "loyalists" are getting calls to join #TeamMike and/or #TeamTarwater.
- There are a great many OTHER Missouri Interns out there with longstanding complaints about a litany of OTHER politicos. The "lifestyle" of Jeff City is an interesting source of speculation BUT so far media is settling for scintillating text coverage and not the really tawdry stuff.
- Missouri Democratic Party overhaul is on the way. Look for only a few bright leaders like Rep. John Rizzo and Rep. Brandon Ellington to survive what is said to be a party purge coming soon. Word is that party insiders (like everybody else) are tired of the same old faces haunting the local election circuits and see an opportunity to inject new life into the Super-minority by way of more female candidates. At this point there really is nowhere to go but up given that the leadership structure of the Missouri Democrats is in shambles in the aftermath of this salacious scandal.
And so, all of this has inspired out playlist for tonight . . .

Like so many other American women, once Paul's wife marrried him she let herself go physically and shut down her sex drive. That kind of behavior is widespread in this country, and it is every bit as much domestic abuse as popping a woman for nagging.

ReplyDeleteI'm not seeing anything out of Brandon or John that says much to higher office. Brandon is a hard worker but his scope is black issues, period. John hasn't really carved out an issues base for himself in these past five years. He has, however, done well on the donations front. Virtually every corporate scammer that does business in his district or the district immediately to the south has bucked up. He would also find a serious hurdle to higher office in his past treatment of a particular consultant from Florida (party insiders will know of whom I speak). Any primary opponent that employs said consultant will find a serious ball of energy working on their behalf.
