Stanfords Hosts Sullivan & Son Star

TKC Note: You can tell Craig really likes an upcoming comic coming to his place this weekend...

Sullivan and Son Star at Stanfords!

Steve Byrne is no doubt a brilliant comedian. Jay Leno felt he was one of the best talents in America the last ten years. Jay had Steve on the Tonight Show more than ten times over the last few seasons. Why? He is one of the few comics who is very funny but clean. Byrne applied that to his TV series 'Sullivan and Son' on TBS the last three seasons. Smash hit. Steve also wrote and produced the series.

Sullivan and Son was a product of Steve's real life. He grew up in Pittsburgh with his American father and Korean Mother. The show is a spin of his early adulthood before he became a comedy star with other hits like the series 'Wedding Crashers' and 'Happy Hour.'

After the series, Sullivan, ended this past year, Byrne did three hot specials on Netflix and has a new tv show in the works with Vince Vaughn who also co produced Sullivan and Son with Steve.

Byrne killed it on local media this morning doing everything from 98.9 with Johnny Dare to Mike Kennedy on Q and KCTV 5 as well as NBC 41. He has the unique ability to teach us daily life reality and what to make of it with humor. Things are better than they seem is his motto.

Steve also did THE BYRNE IDENTITY one hour special for cable recently. He is everywhere. See him live at Stanford and Sons new spot at 119th and Metcalf, Rosana Square. This Friday and Saturday 7:45 and 9:45. You will truly love the shows. Stanfords is now a full entertainment zone with restaurant, outdoor patio with live entertainment and music as well as a new night club with Karaoke. Comedy is still the thing.

Major stars coming up include Eddie Ifft, Jeff Richards from Saturday Night Live and Mad TV and Chris Franjola from Chelsea and Sons of Anarchy. You can also order tix or make dinner reservations on stanfordscomedyclub.com.
