  2. KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Gunfire erupts in the middle of a Kansas City street, and a local business turns out to be the biggest casualty after the smoke clears.

Police say people were involved in a shootout about 3:30 a.m. in the Westport area.

The gunshots shattered windows at The Bunker, a clothing store on the corner of Broadway and Westport Road.

Officers say no one was hit, but they are talking to persons of interest and witnesses.

  3. Don't worry, folks. There's a newly built police station only two blocks away at 75th Prospect. That solved all the crime in that neighborhood. This story is just an anomaly. We all know that police facilities keep people safe just like body armor... And if you believe that, I'm selling chocolate cake made of 100% real dog-shit - $20.00/each. Bon appetit!

  4. I'd be interested to know how many shootings have happened in that area since the young child was killed. Seems to me some folks are letting street justice take its course.
