Fireworks And Kansas City Freedom

This morning let's think about the law of the land and how illicit fireworks celebration persists and inspires in Kansas City.

They say we are a "nation of laws" but people of every demographic in Kansas City openly challenge restrictions against fireworks. Streets are closed off, block and neighborhood parties ensue and the local plebs blow up their paychecks on devices invented and manufactured in China so that they can celebrate a Constitutionally protected right to be obnoxious.

Every year there's a media scare tactic to give people a moment of pause but I can't imagine hauling away working stiffs for having a few beers and shooting off fireworks is a priority for any police department in the metro . . . Fact is, there's more serious violence police are dealing with today.

TKC QUESTION: DOES THE HIGHLY TOUTED KANSAS CITY SHOT SPOTTER COME CLOSE TO WORKING AMID SO MANY EXPLOSIONS AROUND TOWN TODAY?!?!

Whatever the case . . . We advise caution and warn that some people will get busted for illegal fireworks but most won't as this town celebrates freedom by challenging overly restrictive muni-codes.

Please no fireworks this year guys, it really makes my PTSD flare up.

Beating on my old lady seems to be the usual release for this type of deal.

    Thanks again.

    1. Fuck you. I'm guessing you've never served your country or anything but yourself.

  3. Seems rather antithetical that that you cannot safely celebrate our nation's freedom as you see fit in some area cities without being cites or arrested.....I don't recall voting for/against for a Black Cat Ban in my city anyway.

  4. No, fuck YOU...the myth of the selfless military servant might have been true in WWII but the hired dogs doing the Empire's bidding these days are pretty low on the scale of noble professions.

It's a fucking paid professional military, and I'm glad they're there if we need them...but go fuck yourself with the SELFLESS WARRIOR bullshit.

  5. ^^^^ true indeed.

And I did serve OUR country for 24.5 years 11:05. I sincerely doubt you did more than clean a few heads for maybe two years until your discharge.

  6. Whine some more 11:05 about how "sad, tough and difficult" your pathetic life is now...suck it the fuck up boy.

  7. Ingrates are too damn plentiful anymore. We all enjoy a great measure of security thanks to well trained military organizations and some private contractors. No hawk here, but history should be a sure lesson in human nature. Conflict on any scale over any issue is unending in this world. Coexesting is tricky when greed and power, hate and vengeance are constant schemes. Peace and plenty for all would be the heaven on earth most wish for, but how many truly work toward.
Meantime, watchfulness and weaponry keep a measure of order for most of us. I fantasize a fight free global stance--peace, love and all happiness.
