No wake zones, yeah right, there are some rude a-holes who don't abide. Just like road drivers' sudden lane changes and running reds, the boater and jet-ski doofuses endanger people and property when they rip through coves and past docks and swimmers TOO DAMN CLOSE.
ReplyDeleteHolidays and most summer weekends there are amateurs, drunks, or combinations thereof that are a threat. Our retired friends (and plenty of their neighbors) at the Laurie area stay off the "deep" water and beach front pubs in "high" season because the crowds on the lake get treacherous.
