CHECK THE JEEP CHEROKEE GOOD LIFE OF JACKSON COUNTY POLITICOS DRIVING NEW LUXURY CARS JUST APPROVED!!!
Here's the word . . .
"THEY just approved a little over $200,000.00 for what looks like five 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees, all to be purchased from Landmark dodge in Independence.
THE TOP DOG AT THE COUNTY received the first one last week, to the tune of 43,000.00ish."
This isn't just gossip . . . Check the Jackson County docket for a confirmation of $200K worth of spending from that sweet property tax cash coming in fresh from the dweebs who much pay to keep this governmental body afloat . . . Last year this fund paid for a SWEET F-150 that raised more than a few eyebrows at the courthouse and amid layoffs.
The County does have rather sweet taste in cars and that has been a rolling joke among local political elite . . . Sadly, this deal seems to be rolling right over good taste and $200K is really just a drop in the vehicle pool budget that's mostly unwatched.

there was a waiting list for this fuel efficient car.
Instead, we went with the Cherokee which gets an average of 20mpg.
Sorry folks, we tried to save the Citizens of this County money but that was not possible... efficiency and responsible spending is not something we do.

ReplyDeleteBest way to save county money is to fire everyone in public works at the county. The BIGGEST collection of losers and inbred's in America. Want to see inefficiency and laziness? Call them about paving your road someday. All you'll get back is attitude, anger and excuses. When I called to tell them about an unsafe road in my area, the jerk at the county, some guy named, get this one, "Earl", told me that because I called my issue went to the BOTTOM OF THE LIST!! Then he hung up! If they are paid 9.73 an hour its too damn much. Every time I drive by I see them sitting around outside their "work area" drinking "coffee" and talking. Doesn't anyone there work anymore?
ReplyDeleteLooks like the county needs to put a little "work" into "public works." We had our own issue last year in Lee's Summit when the screwed up our road, and then refused to fix it. It is worse than before thy came to "fix it." Serious retards in that department.
