TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! UNDERGROUND PROTESTS AGAINST SOUTH KANSAS CITY CERNER PROJECT CONTINUE!!!

Mainstream media has yet to report this but we're getting FIRST WORD of increased opposition to a highly touted local development . . .

ONCE AGAIN WE'RE HEARING FIRST WORD OF PROTESTS AGAINST SOUTH KANSAS CITY'S CERNER DEVELOPMENT THAT'S FAILING TO INCLUDE EMPLOYEES FROM THE COMMUNITY!!!

Here's the word . . .

"This past Wednesday afternoon there was a group of approximately 40 protestors at Cerner's front door @ the Hillcrest Road/Bannister Road intersection protesting the Cerner project – I went over from mY office and talked to them – they claim they represent the unemployed and Cerner’s construction project is union contractors “which consequently blocks employment for the 38% unemployed that live in our communities”. They said they will be back next Wednesday, May 7th."

  1. This isn't surprising, considering most unions are involved in hiring millions of prison guards for private corporations who are the largest lobby in Washington right now

  2. Wow! 40 people. That project must be really unpopular.

  3. Ya know, if these protesters don't like what is going on perhaps they could all go get jobs, earn some money, pool it, buy out Cerner and show the world how it is supposed to be done.

  4. When your view of the world is marching and lying in the street and making demands instead of working hard to make something of yourself, it's always possible to find the next thing to complain about.
Unfair schools, disinvestment in high-crime parts of the city, police behavior, grand juries...the list is endless.
And when you run out of local "causes" just get online and find something somewhere else.
    The mindset of entitlement.

  5. hah ha that's silly. everybody knows niggers don't work.

  6. Can these "local" folks build multi-story concrete buildings??

  7. I'm sure the new Cerner Campus will need many of these "highly skilled" workers from this neighborhood.

A big place like that always needs janitors.

  9. TO 6:29 -- YOU SAID:

"...most unions are involved in hiring millions of prison guards for private corporations who are the largest lobby in Washington right now."

Sounds like a retarded Toni Bones non-statement of mixed nonsense.

"Most Unions" represent skilled workers across the spectrum of trades and skill-sets.

The FINANCIAL LOBBY has at least 3 lobbyists on the hill for every Senator and Congressman. FACT.

AND IF You did your homework, you'd find that while California's Prison Guard Union (CCPOA) has come under scrutiny, your insanely broad-sweeping statement is simply ignorant.

    As are you, I suspect.
