Yesterday we had a frank discussion about an Internets socialite writing making some really nasty accusations against Clay Chastain.
And now . . .
KANSAS CITY TRANSIT ACTIVIST AND MAYORAL CANDIDATE CLAY CHASTAIN FIRES BACK AGAINST THE ACCUSATIONS AND SEYZ HE'S IN A SUING MOOD!!!
We hear the lady took down her post and probably doesn't know that just about everybody already screencapped her screed so that it will live on forever.
Important note here . . . Clay isn't letting himself get Bill Cosby'd amid this allegation and letting the online comments go unchecked. In less than 24 hours he's standing up, addressing the allegation and threatening legal action.
And so, the Kansas City silly season continues as we fight and hope to stir up enough controversy to slightly lift otherwise pathetic voter turnout.

Slanderous and untrue statements about my attacking a woman, running after her "enraged and screaming like a madman", and stalking her at the Nelson- Atkins Art Museum are absolutely, 100% false!
What's more, while I am in the suing mood (suing a mayor who ran as a candidate while being delinquent on his taxes) I intend to seek legal counsel to sue for saying something about me that is not only a blatant outright lie done with malice, but was also a lie perpetrated to harm my reputation.
My efforts to clean up Dodge have now been expanded.

She, and family fortune, settle quietly to avoid further embarrassment and ironically ends up funding Mr. Chastain's activism!!! Now that's SWEET!!!
Alternate version of reality from 20 years ago: she was flattered by the younger Chastain's interest in her, and because he attended the symphony thought she might be landing another wealthy man, after dinner when she went to his residence and realized that he was a working man of modest means she decided she didn't want anything to do with him, thus the fabricated details to explain away her refusal to see him again.
She just cost her husband a LOT of money and his board position with THE biggest lobbying group ever!

When you live in Kansas, it's best to keep your mouth shut about what's going on in Missouri. Like the Mayor all you want. Like is not a legitimate vote. I hope he wins large dividends. There's not excuse for that elderly hag to have gone on that way. Her husband may love her but everybody else can do without her. I guess she thought she was more important than she really is and would escape retribution just like Sly. Neither is true.
