KCPS SCHOOL BOARD MEETING INTERRUPTED TONIGHT AMID POINTED QUESTIONS AND CONCERN ABOUT SOUTHWEST!!!

"Kansas City, Missouri School Board Meetings Shuts Down after parents and members of the community pose questions to the district regarding South West High School's future. Several hundred packed the board meeting tonight. Rather than answer any of the questions raised by the speakers board members chose to flee the room and take a recess."

  3. When you have a decades-long track record of failure, why change what you're doing now?
    In KCPS the young people always come last after the nose-in-the-trough grifters, hand-wringing white do-gooders, and self-appointed "leaders" in the black community, for who it will always be the glory years of the 1960s.
    The district has fewer than half the enrollment it had just a few years ago, buildings stand empty and deteriorating, it's counted as a great management triumph when money can actually be accounted for, the superintendent merry go round continues, and the level of achievement by the vast majority of the students continues to be pitiful.
    The very picture of a commitment to failure.
