We're coming off what could be a KANSAS CITY TRIPLE MURDER WEEKEND to start the warmer weather months and as the warmer weather really starts to crank up.
Nearly a half dozen separate shooting incidents, a deadly domestic stabbing and some dude found shot to death in an SUV marked the close of the Kansas City weekend.

Unofficially, these numbers put KCMO at 29 homicides so far this year compared with 22 at this time last year and whilst politicos tout success in fighting crime that's sadly eroding.

Black lives matter-just not to black people. Black people do a lot of talking with no results, not positive results anyways. As I type this I'm watching a black kid with autism getting beat up while the girl that is doing the beating is cheered on by her mom on the news. Yes, her mom is cheering her beating a girl with autism. Black people have no bottom and they will only get worse. That's what happens when you are willfully ignorant and have zero morals or work ethic.

So after all the reorganizations in the police department, all the studies by UMKC, all the new money thrown away on nonprofits like MORE2, and all the self-congratulations of just a couple months ago, KCMO is back to the murder rate of 2010, that is about two deaths every week.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, that doesn't include all the people shot and wounded, but saved by the EMTs and ER docs and nurses.
Meanwhile the country focuses on body cameras for the cops and what new "programs" the taxpayers can pour more endless billions into for make-work jobs and urban core "investments" like 18th and Vine, which mostly turn cash into thin air.
