TKC SATURDAY NIGHT PLAYLIST!!! TEASING TOP 5 KANSAS CITY COUNCIL SCANDALS!!!

We're gearing up for another SCINTILLATING round of silly season antics and this time around local politicos are playing for keeps.

Accordingly . . .

CHECK THE TOP 5 CONTROVERSIES FACING CITY COUNCIL CONTENDERS COMING SOON BUT REPORTED FIRST ON TKC!!!

Think of this as an info clearinghouse for those who have fallen down the rabbit hole of local politics and might be a bit too engaged in all of the drama that 87.5% of all registered voters have ignored so far.

Here we go . . .

1. A rather popular city council candidate used a vacant house on one of her campaign forms and her opponents are demanding local newsies take notice.

2. Council Dude Jim Glover is RAGING MAD about tax questions thrown his way and local newsies are taking their time to examine the consultant info thrown their way that could change the 4th District forever,

3. There's a 3rd District residency controversy brewing and documentation of these campaign registration form questions has been making the rounds. It might not change the course of the election but it could make for a good Tuesday story.

4. Consultants are stumped because negative campaigning isn't working in this low turnout election. Slamming an opponent only helps raise their name recognition in a contest that local media is mostly ignoring.

5. Long-shot candidates mistakenly believe that voter turnout is going to pick up for the general election -- Historically, turnout for the final vote only bumps up a few points at best . . . Moreover, and this is what's really important: KANSAS CITY VOTING BLOCS HAVE ALREADY PICKED SIDES. General elections have always been anti-climactic in Kansas City and candidates behind by double digits are now facing increasing skepticism about the reality of their chances.

And all these tidbits inspire our playlist for tonight . . .

As always, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday night . . .

  1. The classic council chamber. They should have never changed it. Ruined it with a bunch of TV and other crap without fixing the structure. Kind of what happens in KCMO all of the time.

More than a metaphor, a way of life.

  5. Tony should dig up Past info stories about that Crazy Goon Broad that used to sit on the KCMO City council back in the early 1990's , that Council woman Carol Coe, for those that remember that Crazy Lunitic !

They all have the same Degenerate Mentality and attitude !!

  7. Residency questions changed the course of the Election for TGR, it could change the course for the 3rd District election too. Vacant Houses, unpaid taxes, false residency? What's coming out of the closet Monday? Oh, I forgot, the public needs a judges order for the City to validate candidates, why are people lazy at work? Why not verify, in front of their lawyer, all the candidates? That's too simple and easy to do, my bad.

  14. Why is it that these so-called politicians don't have to pay their taxes, their SBA loans back or follow laws like residency requirements, vehicle licensing, drug laws and not set themselves up for blackmail and give away $15K to con artists? They expect us to observe and/or pay. When are we going to hold them all accountable and not just pick and choose?

  15. The reason why Tony Caldwell isn't in jail is because he knows all of the secrets that everyone's hiding. Maybe Jack Cashhill should strike a book deal Titled, "If I Had A Hooker"

Caldwell is a thief and after he is found guilty in his lawsuit he will have to make reparations or face jail time.

  20. Do any of the candidates have a conscious? What is the source of the cover-up? Is this post connected to the TIPS Hotline? It's time for them to be EXPOSED!!! AUDIT anyone? Time for some house cleaning!
