MUST SEE!!! FEAR KANSAS CITY DOWNTOWN 'ONE LIGHT' RIPOFF COMPLAINTS!!!

The U.S. commercial real estate market is overdue for a correction and right now there's a feeding frenzy to cash out while there are still greater fools waiting to separated from their money.

To wit, here's just a bit of Downtown Kansas City consumer reporting about the cash that taxpayer subsidized housing is taking off the top . . .

"Applying to live in One Light right now and they're trying to stick me with a $250 "Admin Fee" that I'm assuming I won't get back if I don't sign the lease or am not approved. Worth it? Any way to get out of it?"

Never mind that this tidbit reveals the "sold out" hype to be nothing just another corporate exaggeration as the so-called "Downtown Kansas City Renaissance" is still nothing more than smoke and mirrors.

  1. Don't assume the fee is nonrefundable. Ask. If it isn't, then complain.

  2. It's only refunded if you threaten to sue.

  3. You tax (break) dollars at work. Hell, there's probably less government money going into section 8 housing than these corporate handout apartments.

  4. People, free enterprise. You are welcome to move along and not apply.

    Bunch of old whiners here.

At lest the taxpayers don't have to pay this fee on your behalf.

  6. 8:12 I typically don't side with the haters on here. But do you see the irony in what you stated? "free enterprise". "Free enterprise" is an economic system in which private business operates in competition and largely free of state influence.

If the posters are right about government subsidies then this is NOT free enterprise. You did give me a chuckle though.

  7. 9:44am Political connectedness is free enterprise to the lazy, slothful "business" people suckling the public teat.
