LOCAL POLITICAL LADIES LEAD OR POSE STRONG THREATS TO UPSET LOCAL DUDES IN MOST OF THE KANSAS CITY COUNCIL RACES!!!
Here's the run down so voters can decide for themselves . . .
Heather Hall ran stronger than the dudes in her district and won thanks to Conservative values and support of the police.
Teresa Loar blew out Jay Hodges in the primary and her wealth of experience in both conservative and Democratic circles makes her one of the most popular local candidates this election.
Jamekia Kendrix is making a strong threat to replace Incumbent Jermaine Reed and picking up more support from 3rd District ladies tired of the Councilman's arrogance and dishonesty with himself and everybody else.
Katheryn Shields seems to be the leader of this girl power movement and this lady could soon be the strongest lady on the council once again
Jolie Justus is the rising star among the progressive set in Kansas City's 4th District corridor and she's squishing John Fierro's hopes and dreams like a bug.
Alissia Canady is in the toughest race against Kansas City's longtime statesman Ken Bacchus but her high level connections might make the difference.
And so . . .
LIKE IT OR NOT TKC IS ON THE FOREFRONT OF THIS GIRL POWER MOVEMENT IN KANSAS CITY THAT COULD SET THE TONE IN THIS TOWN FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS!!!

ReplyDeleteJermaine Reed could tell the truth if his life depended on it. There's a price you pay for that... its called lack of credibility. He was elected on a fluke and with only about 2,000 votes, virtually anybody can beat him.

ReplyDelete70% of voters voted for someone other than Heather Hall. She has no clue how city government works. She wants to give public service more money, yet they already receive 70% of the General Fund. She says the police had their budget cut, yet they received $3mil more this year than last. The only way to give public safety more money would be to cut elsewhere.
