  1. .....LOL.... American Ninja Warrior

    at Union Station.

Bet George Guestello was in a

    homosexual tizzy looking at

    all those "Warriors" in skimpy

    thongs.

Word has it Georgie was hopping from

car to car in the back parking lot

    wearing his Victoria's Secret teddy.

  2. Hey Tonys timewarp, homophobia went out of style 20 years ago! Maybe you guys should stick to your urban planning and "modern" transit ideas. they are ever so slightly more modern...

  3. The bigger P.V. infills create jobs and revenues much needed. Permits, Designers, Constructors, Landscapers, Suppliers, Furniture, Appliances for immediate gains. Then, long term rewards are increased taxes, insurance, taxes and maintenance.
The upshot valuations on the smaller homes will probably come with bumped up tax and insurance rates, and that may not be desired by most, but the timing may be right to capitalize on the selling price hike. The good, the bad, ....six of one...half a dozen...GREAT INVESTMENT AT THE TWO LIGHTS...now tower on over!

  4. These are not infills, 5:09. They're teardowns. Take a drive on 71st between State Line and Mission Rd., and you'll see why people are complaining. You have classy PV ranch homes being torn down and replaced by nouveau riche (or nouveau riche wannabee with huge mortgages) monstrosities with two high-ceilinged stories and three-car garages being shoehorned into lots platted for the ranches.

Good grief people. If you want to live in those monstrosities, go to Hallbrook and live among your kind.

  5. We live in north Leawood and have the same situation. There are blocks where there are as many teardowns as original houses.
A neighbor is on the architectural committee of our homes association, and they approve the plans for rehabilited houses. He call the people who object "ranch Nazi's" because almost every house that is a teardown is a ranch, to be replaced by a 2 story.
I think that we have very high class problems.
