NBC ACTION NEWS: Two shot in old northeast
Shortly before midnight on Friday, a man and woman were shot while sitting in a car at St. John and Belmont in northeast Kansas City, Mo.
Police originally said the pair suffered life-threatening injuries.
By 5:30 a.m., the man was still listed in critical condition. The condition of the woman has been upgraded and both are expected to survive.
