The Dwayne Williams write-in campaign is causing more controversy than it's worth.
No other media has bothered to report about the guy because write-ins typically garner few votes in Kansas City. Even in low voter turnout elections, a write-in candidacy rarely garners anything more than a handful of supporters. Also, people have to be really careful when they write-in a candidate and a simple misspelling could disqualify a vote.
Now . . .
RAGE OVER THE DWAYNE WILLIAMS CAMPAIGN HAS A LOT MORE TO DO WITH THE POLITICAL AMBITIONS OF TGR THAT JUST WON'T GO AWAY EVEN AFTER SHE HAD TO BOW OUT OF THE ELECTION IN THE MIDST OF A RESIDENCY RUCKUS!!!
Like some kind of late-show monster, TGR just keeps coming back, she's trying to be a "power broker" nowadays in an election move that can't be described in any other way than pathetic.
To wit . . .
Insiders say that Williams is politically aligned with TGR . . . Which really just speaks to more bad judgement.
But the rage over this no-chance write-in candidate gets interesting when we start talking about campaign finance.
We've already documented complaints that TGR won't return her campaign cash to union people who desperately need it for more productive aims.
Well, here's TGR putting herself in a position where she could help a candidate attempting to attain elected office.

Sadly, the PAC is just formed so there's no financial info on it but insiders are looking for controversial campaign finance transfers and they will probably make a big deal over any cash the group gets given TGR's election FAIL along with the fact that her exit from the 5th At-Large and Jackson County politics seemed disgraceful.
And so . . . This is a sad Saturday story of an embattled lady obviously attempting to revive her embattled career behind the scenes but the local political establishment is attempting to thwart that effort as well.

This should rightly demonstrate the character, convictions and position of Mr. Williams. Don't look forward to anything new or innovative. Another opportunist, public cash-grabbing troll. I wouldn't trust Theresa Ruiz to walk me across the street on a green light. The fact that Mr. Williams has entrusted his campaign financing to this very dishonest woman is telling.
