Now . . . Here's an important statement that speaks to what happened at City Hall this week . . .
HEATHER HALL IS CALLING OUT CITY HALL AND THE CURRENT COUNCIL FOR THEIR VOTE WHICH COULD CUT POLICE JOBS AND FUNDS!!!
Like it or not, Heather Hall is making support of the police a major part of her candidacy and she's the only candidate putting herself on the line for the rank and file cops on the street.
Heather Hall TKC Questionnaire Statement: "Yesterday, the KCMO City Council voted to support a budget that will cut 100 Police Civilian positions over the next 3 years.
"District 1 has over 90,000 citizens living here. At any given time, there may only be 5-7 officers on duty! That is unsafe for the officer, the citizen and the city. We need to have equity in officer numbers in the Northland to keep our families and first-responders safe.
"I am a candidate for City Council, District 1, In-District to ensure public safety, fiscal transparency and small business growth."

ReplyDelete^^Look at East Patrol. The City blew off the money within their network of friends and grifters. Pat Klein was unnecessarily and unjustifiably promoted to Assistant City Manager after stealing property from African Americans property owners which had been in the family for generations.

20 people are getting laid off at City hall, which will hurt citizen services. Police and Fire get too much, including outrageous amounts of overtime. The firefighterss have extra jobs and get paid in cash--pay no taxes on it. Criminals.
