This fact has residents reaching their boiling point, given that when we look across the State Line in Kansas . . . The recent death of a cop was met with capital charges mere weeks after the initial shooting.
In fairness, a FIRST PERSON witness shares this: In a community meeting after the incident. Mean Jean stated that she would seek the death penalty if they had the admissible evidence to support it.
Sadly, South Kansas City residents continue their arguments that the process is taking too long as they continue to grieve and fear increasing crime in their part of town.
