For the record, the Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corp is a great organization and we can't say enough good things about the word they do.
But here's the news according to Kansas City Insiders . . .
WORD IS THAT MAYOR PRO TEM CINDY CIRCO IS CARTING OUT ANOTHER CANDIDATE FOR THE 5TH DISTRICT AND THEY'RE PREPPING A TRAGIC DWAYNE WILLIAMS WRITE-IN CAMPAIGN LAUNCH COMING SOON!!!
Here's what's worse . . .
RATHER THAN RETURN CAMPAIGN CASH TO UNIONS AND OTHER DEMOCRATS IN NEED . . . THE TGR CAMPAIGN IS LOOKING TO REDIRECT THEIR FUNDS TOWARD THIS LONG SHOT HALF-BAKED IDEA!!!
People just don't vote for write-in candidates and this move seems to have been hatched by two political ladies who have simply lost touch with reality.
Worse still . . . There are tax issues that have already been documented and Mr. Williams probably should look at his E-Tax record before announcing his candidacy.
They're calling this one "The Cindy Circus" because it's just a cavalcade of one curiosity after the next . . . But for right now, we want to give the guy a chance, wait for him to return our call before we go into too much detail about why his campaign would never work and lament that not even term limits can keep Cindy Circo out of Kansas City politics and send her back to doing much more honest nail tech work.

After the Blands sucked all the money from the organization with their real estate schemes - the organization, if you can call it that, is belly up. Dewayne cannot be trusted. This is a bad move. WTF is right! Kansas City is doomed if this is the best they can come up with to fill leadership roles. Cindy Circo is public enemy number one!
