Kansas City Tragic Voter Turnout Not-So-Fact

We've been talking to candidates all day and the responses have been pretty amazing. Here's what the best/worst thing we've heard.

In a recent Kansas City forum, organizers shared this fun fact with candidates: "In the last municipal election, more people over the age of 90 voted than those under the age of 30."

Most experts are predicting turnout on this coming Tuesday might be 10% or much, much less.

  6. Civil unrest is the only thing that gonna change things. What works for a 90 old with 5 years left to live and a 30 year old can't afford to put their fate in Sly Jame s Nixion and Axiom Reed

  7. To put that statistic Ina more understandable form, well under 400 votes were cast by the 18-30 set.

  8. With the Baby Boom generation being replaced by a group half its size guess who's going to get stuck with Sly's bills and debts when they become the "Millennial Boomers".

Good luck kids. Live and learn the ol' saying goes.

  9. The current millenials that Sly has based his whole scam around won't be around to pay the bills and carry the decades of KCMO debt.
They'll all be living in Prairie Village and enjoying the great schools, nice yards, safe neighborhoods, and all the rest of things that come with good government and a First World country.
That's the benefit of renting and not owning and still being able to vote to obligate everyone else to pay for your toys.
    All aboard!
