  1. Hope that cop likes baloney sandwiches.

  2. "Theirs is one of the most dangerous lines of work."

I stopped reading right there. Everything is relative but statitics contradict the "dangerous" claim.

  3. Oh God, don't let Alonzo know about the Masters case.

  4. I just moved to KC with the hope of being a full time Uber driver. Imagine my disappointment when this turned out to involve endless hours of sitting around waiting for a ping.

To test this Ferrari's limits, we kept her low to the ground, driving hard and fast until she squealed with exhaustion.

  6. Can't believe that cop got indicted in that case. Less then lethal stun gun use. Unless there's a lot of details not out yet, that's fucked up. Tony you didn't notice the boy was a kcpd high rankers kid did you? Cut and paste nerd!

  7. "Officer indicted in Independence stun gun case"

Yeah criminals have a way of getting indicted. There are details that aren't out, but this bullshit with that kid never did pass the smell test. Anyone who has ever been on the job knows damn well Runnel's story was nothing but an attempt to cover ass after a grade A"A fuck up. His mistake was thinking half the damn Independence PD would help him.

  8. The cop stopped the car for a warrant for a WOMAN, the minute he saw there was no woman the boy should have been allowed to leave.

    Hope the cop rots.

  9. Car had been reported stolen.

Young man did not cooperate with officer's commands.

Young man had been smoking pot.

It's terrible that someone got hurt, but I don't understand why people think you can choose to disobey a law enforcement officer when they're doing their job. Brown case-FergusonMO, Garner case-NY, etc.

  10. The IPD Chief was no idiot. He knew Runnels had a history and didn't leave KCPD to move up. So the kid's vehicle gets towed - no drugs, no seeds, no shit. Kid goes to the hospital - drug test says no pot in system. At that point Runnels was walking fuckin' toast. Now go figure how many times Runnels has tried to build PC with that lames ass pot smelling bullshit and it isn't hard to guess who was stepping on whose dick in this mess.

  11. 11:05 you are misinformed. ...and by the way you can chose to disobey a law enforcement officer, especially when he is doing something illegal. There is a vast difference between a lawful order and one which will not pass scrutiny. Thousands choose to comply and end up in jail every year. However, failing to comply will illegal orders will never equate with being damn near killed by a cop just because he gets pissed off because you didn't submit to his bullshit.

  13. Be careful 11:18 TKC commenters will start calling you Toni Bones. They will claim you are a radical. And into devious sex acts. They will probably accuse you of being on some sort of government aid. They will claim you are some Michael Brown sympathizer.

The rest of us know you are just a good ol' American.

    Pay them no mind.

  14. Well they might be half right - according to the NSA anyway. *chuckles
