ReplyDeleteWhy does anyone care? Hall senior made his money by going person to person on trains selling hand made cards before hitting on the Hallmark idea. Kempers started with nothing, and built an empire. Their kids and grand kids bust their ass working harder then any family in this city. Kempers also give back way ore to the community then this community deserves, and Cerner built up their mega-empire in one generation.

However, they have fare more income stolen from them (taxes) and create far more wealth, of which 50% will be, taken, then any parasitic city, state, or federal government will ever be able to produce without them. A tax break can only be given if their is income to shelter.
