KC Media watchers understand that no minorities were involved in the fight for many reasons but mostly because the case is staying in juvy court . . . Meanwhile, most offenses against minority scholars earn adult prosecution. Reference on this fact of life: Racial Inequality in Youth Sentencing

We won't lament this tragedy too much except to note that different standards when the public confronts youth violence are clear to some of our more insightful readers.

  1. where exactly does it id the race of the bully? No race mentioned I think we all know what that is generally indicative of.

  2. All kids participate in bullying. Bullying isn't race-specific. My kid is white and went 8 years to a nice Catholic school in KC. Unmercifully bullied by other white kids the entire time she was there. In our case, the kids doing the bullying were from big families. My kid was an only child. The math worked out better for that school by allowing the bullies to stay, because tuition from their big families generated way more revenue than my kid's tuition. It's all about money at the top.

    No consequences.

  4. What percentage of bullies are bastards? What percentage of bastards are bullies? We may be measuring the wrong attribute.
