TKC SUNDAY SPECIAL!!! TRAVIS SMITH TAKES LEADERSHIP ROLE AT AXIOM AND TALKS KANSAS CITY ELECTIONS!!!

It's not often that TKC is confronted with a person as impressive as Travis Smith - The new guy @ Axiom looking to prove himself in the upcoming Kansas City election.

The background is already out there . . . Travis Smith stands about 6'5, he's in his early 30s, educated at Liberty University, he served as one of the youngest Chief of Staffs in all of Congress for Rep. Kevin Yoder and he has been with Axiom for a bit but has now taken a more active role in KC politics.

To wit . . .

TKC RECENTLY SCORED THE FIRST AND EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE BEHIND THE SCENES KANSAS CITY POWER PLAYER WHO WILL CERTAINLY EXERT HIS INFLUENCE OVER THE UPCOMING COUNCIL ELECTIONS!!!

Mr. Smith came to Kansas City to work for Axiom because of unique opportunity and a change in the management structure that will make him a partner with equity.

Moreover, Travis Smith seems excited about all of the tricks he seems to have up his sleeve . . . From touting better polling methodology than competitors to new online/digital video ventures for candidates Axiom continues to be one of the few consulting firms that's growing year after year with hundreds of Congressional candidates across the nation.

Travis Smith said: "I enjoy the game. Axiom is like no other consulting firm in the nation and that allows us to leverage a really talented group of people in order to cover every aspect of the campaigns where we compete."

A recent claim to fame where Mr. Smith took his pop culture expertise to new heights in order to push a fellow Republican over the top and earn a coveted consulting honor in the process.

Check the skinny on Reed Award winning work the firm completed: "The “Underwood – Orman” piece was a ground-breaking radio advertisement that used a voiceover of Frank Underwood from Netflix’s award-winning political drama House of Cards. The piece was so noteworthy that it was featured by National Journal shortly before the election. The ad helped with Senator Pat Roberts’ comeback win in Kansas. Axiom Strategies won the award alongside media strategist Bob Honold."

So, for TKC the biggest question to Travis Smith was about Kansas City election competitors getting lost in the mix given Axiom's impressive roster of clients across the nation.

Here's what he said:

"In every race I get into, from the biggest to the smallest, the most rewarding aspect for me and Axiom is to show that our work helped influence the outcome and bolstered our clients. Our offices look out on Kansas City's skyline so naturally we want to compete in our hometown and work to make a difference in the (upcoming Kansas City Council) election."

Axiom is competing this election from the 3rd District with Dee Evans to the Northland with 2nd District Jason Hodges. It's an "off-year" before congressional contests begin so expect Travis Smith to attempt to make a name for himself in Kansas City politics which might compliment so many of his achievements on the national level.

Developing . . .

Travis started his career in politics as a White House intern, and from there went headfirst into the full time campaign world, working on dozens of campaigns at all levels. 7. Hmm maybe hipsters (urban lumberjacks) are closet right wingers dressing up to look like progressive?

    Never thought of that.

Just what the Paris of the Plains needs, a Jerry Falwell-educated consultant.

311 will now play the 700 Club audio for those on hold.

  9. The only thing that matters is booting Smiling Sly and his crew out.

Then KCMO can get a grip and craft some real change rather than playing musical chairs with a bunch of adolescent fantasy's.

  10. So where's the interview?

  11. Dude looks like a Pirate.

Travis Smith said his worst fear was Tony Bones, because she has a sunken chest and no booty.

  14. Did he "advise" the Congressman on skinnydipping in the Dead Sea, and showing his weenie to all? You said he was from San Francisco? Is he the one that Todd Palin was jealous about?

  22. Wildman, we know you'll be reading no matter what because all of your collegues don't really want anything to do with you. See ya back in a couple of minutes.

  23. When Travis Smith says: "I enjoy the game."--it reminds me of the total waste of talent, time and effort which is the American political election system.

He could actually be using his brainpower toward something beneficial for society instead of "the game."

  25. ^^^^ I'd be willing to bet the pay is dwarfed but what he could make make in other fields.
