TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! RESIDENCY RUCKUS FUN FACT: KANSAS CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE THERESA GARZA RUIZ CONFIRMED VOTING IN BLUE SPRINGS!!!

The battle over residency continues in Kansas City's 5th District and here's a tidbit that's going to come into play . . .

CHECK AN E-MAIL FROM A JACKSON COUNTY ELECTION BOARD OFFICIAL CONFIRMING TGR VOTING IN BLUE SPRINGS IN THE SPRING OF 2013!!!

This bit of information will come into play given that there's a two year requirement for politicos to live in Kansas City proper . . .

This isn't official but the election date in question is April 2, 2013 . . . This upcoming election will be April 7th 2015 . . . Which still brings registration and filing dates into play. That's how close all of this will be and really up to a judge to decide.

Still . . . This is a major talking point . . . And while the courts will have the final say . . . It's clear that TGR is really just a carpetbagger and doesn't have any real connection to the 5th District . . . It seems like she's just moving there to get elected.

You decide . . .

  1. So you're saying that votes are two calender years apart but when she had to register to say she had lived in the 5th District for two years, that wasn't accurate? That is cutting it close.

  2. And has TGR stated her views on spam?

    ReplyDelete
  3. In fairness, she had to move two years before general election date. So by June whatever, 2013 she has to establish her voter registration and taxes in Kansas city.

  4. There MUST be a penalty for lying and cheating, to obtain an office. Someone PLEASE hold this bitch's feet to the fire for this obvious attempt at fraud.

  5. I guess the Citizen's Association does not care about voter fraud.

3:38 you are the only one who realizes and appreciates the important issue here. Anyone who would carpetbag to win an election is quite capable of running multiple servers and churning out a lot of unsolicited bulk email and anyone capable of that is capable of anything. Someone needs her to sate unequivocally her position on unsolicited bulk email.

  7. You're a lucky woman, Mrs. Garza-Ruiz. You get to come up here, no place you have a right to be in. YOu get to eat our food, you get to drink our whiskey, you get to look at our men, while you try to take it for yourself. You know what you are? You are a Conquistador. Only we are not your savages. And now you get to leave. Well I'm hard pressed to remember the last outsider in your line of work who can say that. Now I hope you've enjoyed your stay, and you never forget who packed your bags.

  8. Let's see if they can sweep this one under the rug.

  9. You're really talking about the worst kind of person. Somebody who would chat and double deal rather than running an honest race. Every club that endorses her should really turn in their charter.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Anyone who has to lie about where they live and who they are friends with in order to get into office is not to be trusted. I hope she goes ahead and withdraws. If she does and then decides to run later we might believe her and vote for her then. Right now she is mired in too much controversy. I also don't like that she is buddies with Cindy Circo who is by far the worst councilperson we have ever had in Kansas City. I believe this is a setup with Circo, Sly and Teresa to keep Sly's agenda going. Sly needs to go to but it doesn't appear that we have anyone that can defeat him. It's going to be a rough, expensive next 4 years.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It's going to be even rougher for Sly and his herds of lemming followers.

    ReplyDelete
  12. It was a set up with Circo for sure. The political class started talking about it three years ago, but no one sane listened to their babble. There should be enough to bring conspiracy charges.

    ReplyDelete
  13. And the beat goes on... there are so many carpetbaggers I cannot even begin to name them but I'll try:

Jermaine Reed (from Anywhere USA, especially Washington, DC)
    Randy Dunn (from Raytown, Missouri)
    Quinton Lucas (Lawrence, Kansas)
    Cindy Circo

So, temporarily moving to an area to try and represent people you do not know due to voter apathy is a tradition in Third and Fifth District.

  14. Anyone know what TGR paid Dan Cofran as a "retainer" which got her the Citizens Association endorsement last night?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Theresa is just like most of the other amateur D-list celebrity "politicos" in Jackson County and KCMO. Look at all the retreads running for council seats.
These folks belong to what amounts to a middle school social club and spend their time pandering to every little group, meeting with one another, and planning what public office they'll run for next, all on the public dime.
And the WORST thing possible is to actually try to engage in any public policy or take positions on issues of importance to residents, because then you might anger some voters and not be successful your next election.
And then you'd have to find an actual job, which most of these folks haven't had for years.
And, as this adventure shows, they'll do anything to stay on the gravy train.
    What a pitiful carnival.

  16. I don't mind retreads, I have lived in rural counties that had plenty of "retreads". But some carpetbagger coming in here thinkin we are just simple folk waiting to be taken for a ride, well I don't reckon theres much lower you can go.

  17. Where's the ethics2/5/15, 7:41 PM

weren't we supposed to have ethics reform here in Kansas City?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Tony reports on the KNOCKOUT PUNCH for TGR!!

She's down and out, and won't be getting to her feet. If she keeps pressing her case she'll be tarnished forever.

    ReplyDelete
  19. TGR needs to resign and get out of politics, go find a place in blue springs and STAY THERE!

    ReplyDelete
  20. And to think, TGR was the County's leader and champion for ethics reform. The discovery stage should be interesting, particularly the Circo lease.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jean Peters Baker needs to file the charges against her. There is sufficient evidence to support voter fraud. If not Jean Peters then the Federal Prosecutor ought to file the charges.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Mean Jean, I'll help you out: Missouri Revised Statute 115.0631(1). Charge TGR. Convict TGR. Earn back credibility. Win reelection. Don't screw this up.
