NORTHEAST NEWS REPORTS CONTINUED KANSAS CITY URBAN CORE BUDGET RAGE!!!

Kansas City residents in the urban core and inner city have one last chance to voice their opposition to a budget that gives priority to the Mayor's eco-devo agenda over neighborhood and community interests.

Recently, TKC TIPSTERS shared an itemized list of budget items inspiring fierce opposition from Kansas City neighborhoods.

In their latest issue, our favorite community newspaper puts the budget fight into perspective:

Northeast News: Pet projects over infrastructure

The call to action:

"Citizens have one remaining opportunity to comment and question city hall insiders on why, once again, infrastructure improvements take a back seat to legacy building projects that suck taxpayer cash from sidewalks, streetlights and law enforcement."

The last public budget meeting is Saturday, Feb. 28, 9 – 11:00 a.m., at the Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63rd Street.
