Breaking Bad Comes To Kansas City

TKC NOTE: We were the first Kansas City media outlet to get an interview with this celeb making the local rounds and now here's Craig's write-up on his ICONIC TV DRAMA guest this weekend. Check it:

Craig Glazer: Breaking Bad Comes To KC

If you watched one of the best shows on TV the last decade, Breaking Bad, then you know who 'Gomie' is on the show. Steven Michael Quezada played DEA Gomez on Breaking Bad. He was on every year the show ran. Like almost everyone on the series he gets killed in the seasons final shows.

"I was so lucky to get that part, they were gonna go with a guy from the Shield, but producers wanted an actor from New Mexico to be in the cast. I am from here where the show was shot and took place." Breaking Bad was shot in Albuquerque New Mexico, Steven was born and raised there.

Steven Michael Quezada will be the headlining star at Stanford and Sons Comedy this weekend. Though best known for Breaking Bad he also was in several other noteworthy shows, SNL, Crash,Arsenio and several other films and tv shows. He was a comic for years before he landed the part on Breaking Bad.

Steven was my main guest on 'Glazer Unfiltered' Wednesday night at Stanfords. You can hear his interview on Itunes. In real life a very kind man who is involved in his community in a big way with a seat on the board of education.

After Breaking Bad Quezada returned to his comedy roots and is back in clubs and theaters doing standup. He just did a feature film with George Lopez.

It's Valentines weekend so maybe this is a show that will please the guys and girls. She wants you to take her out, we have great food as well, he wants to see the 'Breaking Bad' guy. Everyones happy.

Next week one of the bigger names in comedy today, Dave Coulier, star of FULLHOUSE.

  1. Surprised SMQ is back on comedy tour. He was great on BB. I thought Hollywood would be calling him. Maybe he could take over on the daily show? He could also go on better call Saul since it is a prequel.

  3. I am so sick and tired of living in a nation being taken over by stupid, smelly, ugly, wetbacks!!! I have never met a good one in my life. They feel that they can just take over wherever they go, and have more kids than they can handle. Then they take the jobs that used to go to people just starting out so they could make money, AMERICAN kids!!!

I want to find a way to start a petition to get Obama (even though I can't stand the bastard, he is useful) and get all illegal Mexicans and their families, even if their children were born here, sent back to Mexico!

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

  4. Never watched Breaking Bad. Never even knew it existed. The Internet was supposed to replace TV. Unfortunately it's become TV's little brother and a hell of a lot worse.
